Music and fiber
We went to see the Whoreshoes last night at the Iron Springs Pub. The music was great, bluegrass with attitude. They are an all-female band. Everybody sings and it seems like everybody plays 25 instruments. Check them out!
I heard about the Whoreshoes because Lala, who plays bango and lap steel in the band, is the partner of a local knit blogger, Rachael. Both were at the Machine Knitting To Dye For workshop I went to last month and both have very entertaining blogs.
While I am talking about music, I should mention that the CD my SP7 pal made me is great! It is an ecclectic mix of rock, bluegrass, and soul. Lovely!
And a bit more fibery goodness to keep me honest:

Merino-Tencel that I dyed a few days ago. I love the shine of the tencel and can't wait to spin how it spins up.
